The Citizens Team is made up of a range of community interests in Hillsborough County. In an effort to gain the perspectives of people from different geographic, economic , social and abilities vantage points, the MPO sent personal invitations to a random selection of citizens as well as placing newspaper advertisements. The Citizen Team is comprised of approximately 100 people.

The Citizens Team will be kept aprised of study progress and the evolution of concepts to create an informed constituency to decision-making bodies. To ensure quality public workshop results, the Citizen Team will assit in the study Team by testing workshop methodologies for “plain English” accessbility by lay citizens and overall functionality.
